About

I am a Ph.D. student at Boston University in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Department. I graduated with an Ed.M. in Deaf Education from Boston University in 2021, and a B.A. in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies from Oberlin College in 2015.

My research interests are related to sign language acquisition in deaf and hard of hearing children. I am particularly interested in understanding how deaf children with hearing families acquire sign language, and how research can be applied to support hearing families with deaf children.
